Score, libretto and sound files

News Flash 19 Sept. 2014! Composer Ross Carey has arranged Bricky’s Sorry Song, the first aria in The Kate Kelly Song Cycle, for solo tenor and eight instruments (winds and strings), in response to a call from New York’s Fresh Squeezed Opera for new chamber operas to add to its repertoire.

The Kate Kelly Song Cycle, a creative collaboration by Ross Carey and Merrill Findlay, was initially scored for soprano voice, community choirs, cello, violin, clarinet and accordion.

This original score is now available for purchase from the Centre for New Zealand Music (Ross is a New Zealander!) here >>

The new arrangement for winds and strings will be available in 2015.
