Rural Arts & Culture Symposium

Arts&CultureSymposiumPoster2014_smlForbes, 15 November, 2014: A symposium to explore the many ways the arts and culture strengthen small rural communities.

A collaboration between Tracey Callinan, Richard Morgan, Margot Jolly and the symposium’s convenor, Merrill Findlay, for Kalari-Lachlan River Arts Festival Inc., Forbes Shire Council, and Arts OutWest. With financial support from Barrick Cowal Gold. And participation by arts makers, arts organisers, arts supporters and arts lovers from all over Central Western NSW. [See the program at AOW] Thank you to my fellow collaborators, and to everyone who participated in this gig, the first of many, I hope.

I’m now looking forward to listening to the Arts OutWest podcasts of the panel speakers to be inspired and stimulated all over again. See links below.
